IMO (International Maritime Organization) proposed the 2030/2050 goals in 2018 to reduce carbon emissions in the shipping industry, and in 2020 passed the IMO short-term emission reduction measures, namely the introduction of the existing ship energy efficiency index EEXI and carbon emission intensity index CII. BINARY STAR will support you to achieve carbon reduction target and reach required EEXI value to meet operational requirements. Existing ships are required to meet the required EEXI value (EEDI Stage 2/3 standard) at one time in the annual survey in 2023, and obtain the International Energy Efficiency Certificate (IEE Certificate). Ships that do not meet the EEXI requirements can achieve the required EEXI value through a series of measures such as:
1. Limit its host power;
2. Use energy-saving devices;
3. Switch to alternative fuels
Ships that do not meet the requirements need to combine various means to achieve the standard, otherwise they will be forced to withdraw from operation. Tongzhou will support you to achieve carbon reduction goals and reach required EEXI value to meet operational requirements.
Replace with high-efficiency propellers,Marine propulsion system

HVAF is attached with small fins on the boss cap. the number of fins is small as blade of propellers. HVAF recovers the energy loss of propeller hub vortex in propeller down stream.
VAF can save fuel consumption by 2%-5% as operating at the same speed.
